Jagger here. Almost as soon as we heard about all the unique fruits on this island, we saw this weird looking fella at a small local farmer’s market. I know what you’re thinking, ewwwwww why would you eat that?! While it may look slimy and fibrous, believe me, it tastes like a delicious Jolly Rancher! The soursop fruit is spiky on the outside and sweet on the inside. It’s about the size of a large melon and is kind of like a durian mixed with a passionfruit (except it doesn’t smell really really really really really bad, like the durian). This may just be our family’s new FAVORITE fruit!
